Brief: Build a pet-themed robot in 24 hours.
We imagined those adorable puppies that grab the end of the toilet paper and run through the house.
Our toilet paper robot is activated with a motion sensor. He flicks his “fur” to indicate that he demands to be pet in return for toilet paper. A pressure sensor on his head registers the petting motion. If he is satisfied he will dispense an appropriate amount of toilet paper.
If you fail to pet him (shown following the correct petting), he becomes angry. He violently flicks his fur (so much so that some flies off) and then he snarkily dispenses way too much toilet paper, wasting your precious commodity.
Unfortunately our servo was quite weak so he does not angrily dispense the toilet paper as quickly as we would hoped.
